the one who is disgusted to drink from the same cup with you? or disgusted to wear second hand clothes...
I cannot believe it is 'snobbish' or 'picky'... or is it really is? isn't there a special word to describe this quality?
I always wondered.

we don't have a word that pins it down exactly, but 'snobbish', picky, persnickity, fussy, prudish, anal, all might help describe them.

Clean - nobody wants second hand germs - that is for the same cup part. Second hand cloths can be washed, but now a days it is cheaper to buy it new.

In Ireland we'd call them finicky or poncey, but snobbish or priggish will do.

my brother would refuse to wear second hand clothes whereas I love them! Too me - he was acting like a snob - like he was too good for things like this.

Another term that you I might use is that he was stuck up.
