The reason we share our feelings is not for the other person to agree or disagree. It is for ourself. So, therefore, you should tell him or her how you feel regardless of their feelings for you. As long as you are being genuine and sincere, of course. If you know you are doing the right thing, you will feel good about who you are and the person you are sharing your feelings with will respect you, even if they don't have romantic feelings for you.......and this will move you closer to the person who you are meant to be with

What don't they feel the same way about? It matters what.

If it's something like a difference of opinion on a topic, then feel free to share that with the person you're asking about. Discussing differences is one way we learn more and help others learn too.

If it's a matter of personal feelings, romantic ones, it's actually better if you don't discuss it if you know the other person does not feel the same way. This might not be what anyone else will tell you, but it's what I've seen to be true. Show the person respect and they will hopefully also respect you. If nothing else, time really does heal all wounds...that we don't poke at and leave open to the wind.

Just be honest with the other party. Sharing your feelings is a matter of communication. All you can do is tell them how you feel, you cannot control how someone else will respond.

you mean someone that doesn't love you back?

it is better to not share your feelings with them if you know or get messages they don't feel the same way. it will save you getting hurt or rejected.

if you are willing to accept any consequences than just do it and be honest....say it like it is in your heart.

Just be careful not to make them feel as if you are trying to push your beliefs or feelings onto him/her. Stay calm and be patient. Go into the conversation with a clear mind and get them when their in a good mood.. Good Luck

How do you know he/she doesn't feel the same way.
.....I would try showing them by actions until you think they are ready to talk about feelings.

.....men especially don't like to analyze a relationship before it has hardly begun.

Find a quiet place for you'll to sit. Start off with telling them that you know they might not agree, but you want to tell them how you feel. Go from there.
