First of all, soon the Devil will be abyssed for a thousand years, then let loose for a short time, then he will be destroyed completely...the second death. Revelations 20:10 & 14.
We will have many many things to do in the coming new system of things since we will have life everlasting. We will live forever on the earth as perfect humans. I am sure that God has many things planned to keep us entertained and happy for eternity.

Who says your god is gonna beat your devil?? Who says 'you' or anyone else is going to 'go with' Jesus... a man who died a couple thousand years ago?? Enjoy your life and stop worrying about silly myths and fairy tales about being D-E-A-D and living on forever like Casper or something!

Well, the bible says that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, the heart cannot conceive, of all God has prepared for those who love Him. I can't imagine the beauty and purity of heaven and the new earth. It will be all made right......finally.

Eternal, static, unchanging life... sounds like hell to me. It's stagnation, pure and simple. People that claim to want eternal life don't usually consider the implications of it, that with eternal life come infinite tedium.
They tend to dismiss it with a statement like "We'll all be made happy by God." Or "We don't know what it will be like, but I have faith that everything will be fine forever."

I'll tell you what's going to happen.
in about two generations after the incident, the church will put their own spin on it, and explain it a certain way, and then they'l condemn people who think they're wrong.
and I'm a Christian.
