good luck with the air force, I believe that if you want to enter as an officer then you already have to have a degree BUT the have a super programme where you serve for a few years and then IF you qualify you can go officer from within the ranks.....my son is doing it this way and is already taking extra credits in the air force to look better during the selection process, IMO for advancement this seems to be one of the better branches of the military to go with.
Study hard for your ASVAB and get the best score you can this will help you get a decent job whilst you are trying to become an officer.

you MUST have a degree to be an officer. right now there's no requirement for higher than a bachelors (although it looks pretty good on your major review board). Any higher education you can NEED will be provided during ADPE (however, as said, it looks good on your review board for promotions through major. I'm about to start my masters degree now, and i'm already planning ahead to get my doctorate... no harm in bonus points, right?). you want my recommendation? Get your degree first and go officer right away. they only took a VERY limited number of people through OTS this year, so you could end up stuck enlisted instead (force shaping sucks!!!)

You can get a degree first and then enter as an officer or you can enlist, serve atleast 4 years, apply for officer school or serve for longer and eventually get promoted. But there are alot of poitics in gettin promoted.

to be commissioned you need a 4 year degree. then you have to take the otc course. you can just do rotc while your in college and be commisioned as soon as your out. but fyi people respect officers that were prior enlisted than guys right out of otc.

the degree is required. I was always amazed watching a 50 somthing year old NCO saluting, and saying "Yes Sir / No Sir" to a 20 year old 2nd Lt. Very funny

You need a degree period. The higher the rank the higher degree. You can get your degree while enlisted and apply for OTS, My husband did that.
