I would suggest you guys make up before he leaves... I mean if he/she's your best friend I'm assuming you guys can communicate fine without too much pride involved...Tell him/ her how you feel and that you don't want things to be bad between the two of you, Suck it up, work things out, don't have to agree on everything (compromise), respect each other's point of view, appologize and move on...

Good Luck !

You call them up or go see them and say
wanna go out for pizza
And if you are broke just say hey lets hang out for a moment because our life is getting ready to take turns and other paths
and this moment is fading quickly away.
The next time if there is a next time that we see each other
we maybe totally different.
So lets just hold on to the moment a while longer and
remember the good times.
I want you to know I shall love you from this moment on
And I wish you all the best.
Moments of good conversations suddenly are gone
and it is the remembrance of reflecting is what is left

apologize. you both are probably on edge because of the move. when ppl in the navy/army/air force... have to leave their families, some think it's easier to start a small fight, rather than to go thru the emotions of heartache, sadness, depression, loneliness... maybe that's all it is w/ the two of you. Just apologize and make GOOD use of the time you have left!

Err..uh..not much detail here. I would suggest trying to be the BIGGER person. Call them up. At least apologize for overreacting, or saying the wrong thing. Don't expect them to apologize. But, this should break the ice. You don't have to admit total guilt. Just aplogize for what you feel responsible for.

Then tell them you don't want to part company on bad terms. Ask if you can be friends.

Be the bigger person and try to make amends, a friendship is more important than a simple disagreement and better for the heart.

If Im with a fight with my bestfriend, first ill reflect if whose fault is it and if its mine I will immediately say sorry and explain everything to him why I did that or the cause of my action, and then if she wouldnt forgive me its okay, the impotant thing is you ask for forgiveness...

Realize that you are both probably on edge about the move and resolve it. Enjoy the time left.

Either swallow your pride and go talk to them so you can part on good terms,

or,

let it go and wish you had talked to them for the rest of your life.
