The topic of discussion is Religion & Spirituality. It is not "Bible Believers Only, All others stay out".
Religion is a topic that concerns me greatly, even though I am not religious. I live in a country that has a constitutional protection to keep church & state separate, but the 80% who believe there is a Heaven seem to no longer appreciate how wise that separation is.
By the way, there seems to be quite a few questions directed at atheists every day. I'm quite willing to give my perspective on those questions.
I'll also note that when sufficient numbers of moderate and liberal Christians speak up for the separation of church and state, then I'll be happy to spend my time elsewhere.

I've seen plenty of the other 20% on Yahoo lol
Besides, a lot of people can't seem to face the fact that when their loved ones die, they are dead. They will not see them again.
And it is also a cultural thing. People want to think they will be in a perfect and happy place when they die, to make up for all the crap they have to deal with here.

80% believe because it saves the mind from the torment of death and/or because this belief has been taught to people from a very early age and has defined their whole worldview. To question it would be to question who they are.
