I also have visions/dreams/feelings about the future. I'm also very sensitive to other spiritual activity around me, like when I meet a person who is into certain things I can generally tell it.
But I'm a Bible-believing Christian, I like to think my gifts come from God, and I do all to God's glory.
But most Christians call me a jezebel for "practicing witchcraft" or they just say I'm lying.
So I'm torn. Do I my premonitions with people, or not?

If you think I'm lying or I'm just superstitious, please DON'T ANSWER. I'm looking for supportive answers ONLY.

It sounds like you do have a gift, but psychic abilities are a touchy subject among Christians, although I don't think it needs to be.

It really depends on what you do with your gift, doesn't it?

If you use your gift to warn someone of danger you sense, this is a good thing. Or offer helpful insights you have seen--things that uplift and lighten the troubles of others, who can complain about that?

If you use it to get attention, show off, or appear superior --or try to force people to accept your premonitions, you will have trouble.

I think a lot of people do have similar abilities for extrasensory perception, but they may suppress these inclinations out of fear. I think it's better just to be open to one's gifts and see how they develop. If you are close to God, then these gifts are given to you to do good. Unfortunately others are not quite up-to-speed in their ability to understand that there are many kinds of spiritual experiences that are outside the range of what we call "normal," but this does not mean that they are demonic.

I looked to see if I could find an online support group for you, but could not locate one, but perhaps you might find one. Otherwise, I think you may find that many will not be able to give you the support you need to honor your gift--because they simply do not understand.

my sista: You are one of the blessed of God. And perhaps even a prophetess. Let not the pagan make you feel less of what you have. And let no one turn you from your gift. Learn to develope it.

There are books you can get to help you with interpreting your dreams. One I've found eerily accurate is: The Dreamers Dictionary from A to Z by Lady Stearn Robinson and Tom Gorbett.

I can honestly tell you from personal experience, that their definitions of simbols you see in your visions are VERY ACCURATE. If you acquire the book, and try it out, you will see what I mean.

God does forbid, observing times. But that is when you make the effort and go through particular means to seek out what is in the future. But visions from God are a different matter. For they are messages from H.I.M. to prepare you for something, or for you to help someone else.

I am not certain what you were saying in that last part of the second paragraph where you wrote: "Do I my premonitions with people, or not?" But if you are asking should you reveal your premonitions to people... then know this: If you are gifted, you have a responsibility; share it, if that is what your premonition directs you to. If they don't listen, it is on them. You've done your part.

But whatever you do.

Don't deny your gift. Find out how you can use it to help God in HIs Devine Purpose: He gave you that gift for a reason.

Knowing if someone is into certain things is probably not psychic or spiritual. And saying they are a gift from God (true or not) doesn't sound like witchcraft...
But I think that more detail is needed to tell.
I can only say that the gift of prophecy and tongues were discontinued after the apostles, really make sure of what you feel.

(demons can also give predictions in some cases like the fortune telling women in the bible. Be careful. Pray.)

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sacred Theology. If you're a Bible believeing Christian, and your dreams/visions/feelings don't tell you to do anything that would go against your faith, then it's OK!

Sometimes dreams are just dreams. Sometimes we all feel certain about things only to find out we're wrong. Maybe you should document them, see how many come true, and decide if they are really coming to pass, or if they're just dreams.

Maybe you just need to find a different church. Perhaps a Charismatic Episcopal Church would suit you better.

These are signs of a spiritually advanced person, the fundamental views that condemn your qualities are motivated out of fear and narrow mindedness, you possess qualities that are symptomatic of the original spiritual identity that is temporarily covered by a gross material body.

You should seek the association of like minded people to help support and develop your real identity. It is interesting to note that the word "hell" means to "cover over", so coming to the material world is like that, the pure consciousness becomes "covered" by the ever shifting sands of the material energy.

There are spiritually advanced souls participating on this site and you can know them by their fruits (answers) the uneducated fundamentalist fraternity and their accompanying mindset should simply be avoided.

God gives all of us different types of abilities. I don't call it practicising witchcraft. I have also experienced these dreams, but probably not as strongly as other people with the same gifts. If people do not want to believe you, then that is their problem. Also, they should not be judging you negatively either and calling you names.

people will always trash what they dont understand or trust, im sorry you go through this, but its easier to not tell anyone what you see or feel. i dont think you are lying, and everyone has this ability if they work on it, but so many fear the knowledge is from bad places, read the books of sylvia Browne, she is a well known psychic and shes catholic. hugs and best of luck. i am a witch and our law of life is Harm None. im sorry these narrowminded people are treating you so badly. i see christianity as very two faced. but thats not the issue here.

These experiences are only good for you and not for anyone else.
There are so many lies on earth, so it is really hard to tell where is divine inspiration and where is unhealthy dreams or selfish fabrications.
The One True God does not use man's vision to help mankind; He uses the Divine Prophets. And you know quite well how the Divine Prophets suffer man's suspicion!

You need to find a church that accepts people for who they are.And if anyone calls you Jexebel, slap them really hard because she was a whore. Oh, and I can do some of that stuff as well. I can tell an abusive man from across a room.

Christians have no room to criticize you. They follow a whole book full of people with the no more credentials than you have... the only difference being that they died a long time ago.
