depending on how much you want to spend and the maturity level of the meal here are a couple:
macaroni and cheese, tuna and peas
1 box mac and cheese about a $1
1 can of tuna about 89 cents
1 can of peas 69 cents
total cost $2.58 plus tax depending on the state you live in
simply make the macaroni and cheese as you would following the directions on the box, while the mac and cheese is cooking drain the can of tuna and the can of peas, after you have followed the direction for completing the mac and cheese simply mix in the tuna and peas, you don't have to rewarm if you don't want too the heat from the mac and cheese should be enough, but if you would like it hotter simply warm over low heat
or you could try a simple meat loaf
1 pound of ground beef $3
1/4 cup of ketchup
1 egg beaten
1 cup of oats or crushed crackers
total $3 if you have the other stuff around the house which most people do
simply mix all ingredients together with your hands, place in a baking dish forming into a loaf, after you have done this and before you place in the oven drizzle ketchup on top of the loaf, bake for about an hour at 350 degrees
then you can open a can of green beans and corn or the vegetable of your choice heat and serve.
hope this helps

A few suggestions would include:
1. Spaghetti and meatballs
2. Mac and cheese served with hotdogs or chicken
3. Pasta salad with ham or chicken, cheese cubes, some veggies tossed with Cape Cod Light Balsamic Vinegar dressing
4. Pizza made with a Boboli crust or make it using Bisquick
5. Sub sandwiches or a meatball sandwich
6. tacos
7. Grilled cheese and soup
8. Chicken with lemon sauce, mixed veggies
9. Chicken pot pie made with Bisquit, cream soup, and a pkg. of frozen veggies.
10. Pot roast....my Mom's reciepe is so easy and there is always leftovers for sandwiches or eat as is....
1 pot roast
1 can each: cream of celery, cream of mushroom, cream of chicken
Place pot roast in pan with heavy duty foil in the shape of a cross.
Mix the 3 soups together and pour over pot roast. Fold up foil so it covers and keeps the soup inside and on the roast. Bake in a 300 degree oven for approx. 4-6 hours or until done. She will sometimes make noodles to go along with this or rice. Again, this may a bit more costly but there will be leftovers.
It was a little difficult not knowing how much you wanted to spend. I hope these ideas help.

stores these days carry rotisserie chicken that are already made and you can get lemond herb, BBQ, etc. (whatever the store has). The chickens are actually pretty good and you can find them in the bakers area of the store. They also have ready-made ribs and sides as well. Also I know it's a TV dinner but Claim Jumpers has really good TV dinners that I would try. Just walk around the store and you'll find something. I hope some of this help.

Shake n' Bake Chicken mix. Get a whole chicken cut-up. Follow the directions on the box - and presto! A good baked meal! (Might wanna serve it with veggies - frozen or canned.)
