You can only tow it if you do a few things...

put the transfer case into neutral, doesnt matter what the transmission is in. The transmission is completely disconnected from the wheels if the transfer case is in neutral.

also, do not go over 45, and do not do this for more than 25 miles. Do not make the mistake of thinking you can go 50, or 55, or 40 miles... It would be a potentially expensive mistake friend.

If the jeep has the V8 and the fancy 4wd that cannot be put into neutral, you are out of luck...

The oil pump for transmission drives off the engine end so make sure that its in neutral in the transfer case.

yes just but the transfer case for the 4X4 in neutral then u will be good

how far are you towing it?

if its over a few miles i would reccomend taking the front driveshaft out and placing the xfer case and shifter in neutral

i recomend putting it on a trailer so all 4 wheels are off the ground,ive seen people pulling them with all 4 on the ground ,but ive seen rear ends smoking as they go down the road also

beat way is a car carrier, or tow it backwards
