With a lot of patience, love, and understanding the same as you would show if their mother was there. If there is only a father then he needs to be firm and make sure the kids are brought up to be respectful, caring adults and that they know what responsibility is but not to allow them to use not having a mother as a cop out for failures they will have at things. You will just have to give extra hugs and reassur them more than ever that you are going to be there for them.

We both parents taking care of two kids but we really make it hard to do so. How much more if only a father taking care of 8 kids without their mother? Yeah it's hard but if you have much money in your savings you can do it by paying somebody to take care of those 8 kids in the absence of their mother.

I have no idea. It is hard to take care of 8 kids with a mother. It is hard to take care of 3 kids! I guess you would have to have a lot of family support, or support from friends.

Another question is, why do you have eight kids in the first place?

Have you thought about advertising for a live-in nanny to try to help you? Can you afford that? Hopefully you are either pretty wealthy or are getting all the government support you can. There may be a church program or some christian group that can help you with the cooking and cleaning etc. Even if you aren't religious - I'm not - perhaps joining your local church and explaining your situation and asking for whatever help they can give might be an idea. I believe that christian church ladies are often just dying to find someone they can really help. Give it a shot.

You don't need a mother to take care of Children. You need to do what you have to do.you do the same thing that a mother would do who have 8 kids with no father.
