I'm a guy, but I can tell you "cute" can mean anything, like he looks like he'd be a good dad to I wouldn't do him, but I won't make fun of you if you do. Sexy means sexy. If a girl thinks you're cute as opposed to sexy....moving on...

Boyish - young - muscles defined, but not bounding. Body hair moderate. Nice smile - innocent looking - inexperienced, but nice to look at. Dancing, sparkly eyes. Clean looking with an under-current of ruggedness. Flirtatious, but not necessarily sincere.
Sexy:
More mature. "bedroom eyes" - seductive...sensual. Self-confident. More rugged or eloquent, sophisticated. Not necesarily extremely good-looking, but has an abundance of charisma and/or charm. Eminates genuineness and sincerity. One who is sexually desirable.
The best of the best is a man who has a mix of both sets of characteristics!

Cute is like when he does something silly, makes faces while you're trying to be serious. Someone who is just not the type you would think could be anything more then just a friend.
Sexy is like when you could see yaself sleping with him, hot body, good looks. Is confident in himself and so on.

"Cute" in my opinion means that he might have a nice face, however the rest of him might be in need of a few touch ups..regardless, he wont hurt my eyes. "Sexy" in my opinion means that he has got looks, a body to match, and he knows how to carry himself.
