whats the break down in pay?

Okay, if you go to IRAQ like I did, you get travel pay. Which is about $1,500.00 for 45 day tour + you still get your monthly pay.
It may have changed.

depends on where your deployed. youll get per diem which aint much in iraq, maybe $1.50 a day? youll get hostil fire if your there, which is dependent on rank. i was there as a SrA and i was makin like $250-300 extra a month. then you also get hazard pay which is different. i think thats another $100-150. its been a while. if your away from your family, you should get family separation or hardship pay, thats $100 a month. its worth it. any chance a deployment comes up and i need the money, i always go. ive been in japan for about a year, they dont deploy out as much. soon as i get back to the states tho, im sure ill get hit up. just think about the money. it gets u through

travel pay, seperation pay, danger zone pay and a few other bonuses like I [think] all that is tax free..............BUT I know for sure that I would much rather my husband home than get the extra money........
