There are several ways to foreplay that may not be considered a sin. A smile, a clean home, a sumptous home cooked dinner, a kiss, a hug, a clean and sweet smelly bedsheet and pillows, smell of newly bathed body and lots of sweet nothings expressed through the ears. Sex is the natural thing to do for people who play part of continuing cycle of life. Making sex do not always go direct to the act as is normally known. A foreplay is an act to make sex more enjoyable and as long you both agree and enjoy what you are doing, I do not think you are sinning there. I have not read any part of the bible that prohibits the act specially to the wedded ones.

Technically, yes. It all depends on what perspective you come from. If you are Catholic or Protestant. I'm protestant, and I've always interpreted the Bible as sex not for only procreation, but a symbol of love and commitment between two people (man and woman, I should clarify) who have dedicated their lives to each other in the sanctity of marriage. The Bible doesn't say anything about actual foreplay, but it does mention that wanting a sin, or thinking about doing a sin, is a sin in itself. That is called coveting. So if you are involved in foreplay and your mind is on sex, then you are just as guilty as performing in the actual act itself. It's not something you can't fix. Just don't do it anymore if you are serious about that.

If you are already married, then there is nothing wrong with it. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

Sex isn't just for creation its for pleasure between a married man and a woman. So the answer is no, foreplay is not against God so long as the two people are married to each other. Read Proverbs.

The lack for foreplay is a sin against the woman. It would be like cooking eggs without the pan being heated. You need to turn on the stove.

Yes, according to the Bible any "fornication" (including foreplay) outside of marriage is a sin. Thus proving that this book was indeed written by nomadic herdsmen thousands of years ago.
Apparently some of the people answering this question haven't engaged in any "fornication" before marriage, thus proving how far out of the mainstream of western culture biblical literalists are.

Sex is for the strengthening of the marital relationship. Foreplay is a part of sex. Therefore, in the context of marriage, foreplay is not forbidden. In fact, if you read the Song of Songs (sometimes translated as the Song of Solomon), there is a lot of foreplay and sex in that and it is all good.

First off if sex was only for 'creation', why do we get plesure from it at all.. Millions of people have intercorse everyday with any thought of having a child, much less hugging, kissing and oral sex. All these things are just a means of expersing ethier love or hormones.. I don't believe you can say that if it is truly an expression of love that God could be against it.. God created us to be loving sexually fullfiled people..

I do not think foreplay is a crime on the absolute level. As for the bible that really depends on how you interpret the thing.

Who told you sex is only for procreation? Nope. Have all the fun you want within marriage. Foreplay is fun.

Who ever told you sex was only for procreation? They are wrong... and what is wrong with forplay... generaly, not always, the woman needs a little warming up... and the worming up can be a lot of fun... nothing wrong with that... Sex is only intended to be between one man and one woman united as God intended... But He did not say it should not be fun.
