She stopped seeing me about 6 months ago, after a 2 year very intense relationship. I thought we were happy, but she apparently was seeing someone else - I didn't know. Why do I still pine away for her, when I know she was dishonest?

Everyone is different from one another. Some take a year to two and others maybe a couple of months or weeks. It took me three weeks to get over a certain guy the final week I was more pissed off than anything. I still think about this guy but I know I'll never want to be with him. The only thing you can do is go have some fun and hopefully someone new will come along and you will forget about your ex.

Myabe it was just too sudden for you and you are not at peace yet with the fact that you guys arent together anymore, as for advice for getting over it... hmmm maybe try to find aother girlfriend but if that is still too hard for you maybe ( if you are still in school) focus more on your school work, or go hang out with some friends, find a job maybe so you can channel your feelngs into something else. Hey man I know the feeling, but you must learn to move on, hey check out a couple of singles group in your are from any local church. Get your self involve in volunteer work, start meeting new people, you have to let it go. Best of Luck and god bless!

You need to talk to yourself, and say good bye to bad rubbish, is this what you want? someone who will hurt you over and over, don"t you deserve more. Shake yourself off and get out their and meet new people, take a course, and the next time take it slow so you can find out how a person is. You have to learn to be nice to yourself, and want more out of life for yourself.Your free enjoy it!!

prob because you really cared for her. and still do. doesnt seem like you ever wanted it over. and if she is with someone else it will bother you even more. you will be ok once you meet someone who will take your mind off her.
