I don't think your brother has any right to say you have a problem. He needs to realize that he is the one that is not exactly normal here and needs to be a little more understanding. I am sure he doesn't want to hear about your sex life so tell him that you don't need to hear about his.

hes gay and hes telling you that you have a problem? Funny how gay people think they have special rights when they "come out of the closet". They dont and for him to use that as an excuse for an argument with you tells me hes going to use that as an excuse to be an a** . anytime something doesnt go his way or someone disagrees with him. Hes the one with the problem trying to go through life thinking everybody should accept his CHOSEN life style. This isnt about gay or straight, this is about respect.

Take out the gay part and it sounds like siblings being siblings. It also sounds a little bit like maybe you're worried for him?
Separate out what worries you. His gayness? His dorkiness? Is he doing things like drugs or something?

If you are having trouble doing it alone, get to a counselor somewhere and explain what's going on. Do your best to be his sister and the rest will follow.

Hmm...sounds to me like your brother was having a little foray into the world of man love and you heard some details through the grapevine. I'd get used to it, thats what straight people do and it's not gross. I know what you're saying, I"m not gay, but it's not me, I could care less - I would just get over it - it's who he is. believe me, it's what you don't know that should bother you.

that may be true. if you are uncomfortable with him being gay then that's probably why you are fighting. i suggest you learn to except this or you and your brother may not have a good relationship anymore. i know it's going to be tough but you can do it.

just don't think about those things anymore. everytime you start to think about it go watch a movie or do something to get your mind off of it

be more open-minded. gay people need understanding. he has a hard enough time this society as it is. he is your brother show him some understanding i am sure it must be quite shocking. but there is nothing that you or anyone else can do to change him. love him for who he is not what he is. good luck

So your brother is gay, no big deal after all its his life. All you can do is be there for him when he needs your support.

Yes it will take you time to adjust to the situation, but why fight about it.

Love him for who he is not what he is.

You can choose your friends but not your family.

Just tell him that you're gonna need some time to come to terms with this. And remember, he's the same brother that you've always had. Love him.

Tell your mother, this would teach him a BIG lesson. Ortell everyone in public, that would make him think twice.
