This seems to be a new trend. I saw Teri Hatcher on Oprah once and she was recommended but then again she is an actress. I'd like to know what the average woman thinks about this as a form of excercise as opposed to traditional aerobics.

I think that the class is a great idea, and I wish my gym offered something like it.

As for people who think it's not for the "average" type woman, who says the average woman shouldn't learn some more sexy moves to turn on her significant other?

Besides, the point of all these classes is to offer some alternatives to standard cardio and to mix up your routine. I think it's a great idea to take a class that is completely different from the rest of your workout routine, just so you don't get bored! Plus, varying your workout can provide faster results.

I think it's a fabulous idea. I would install a pole in my house (they're $80 at Spencer's Gifts) if my apartment weren't so tiny.

I say, go for it! Embrace your femininity and have fun! Plus, it *is* a great workout!

yes, because it works! pole dancing is probably the best kind of exercise because you're working almost every muscle in your body. try it and see. after you've dropped some weight and perfected your pole dancing technique, you can give your man his own private "show"

No, but I would be willing to watch a poll dancing class course to give my heart a pants and a good work out.

I would love to as long as I don't have to kill my feet by wearing those awful platform 6 inch heels!
