You've made a pretty poor analogy. Or you have a pretty rotten girlfriend/spouse . . .
My girlfriend/spouse treats me as an equal, Your God is omnipotent.
My girlfriend would not let me die for any reason. Your God will.
My girlfriend would not expose me to evil, or purposely unleash an evil entity into my world. Your God does.
My girlfriend would forgive me if in a moment of doubt or pain I blasphemed her name. Your God will never forgive me for that (read the ten commandments).
My girlfriend would never sacrifice newborn children to make me respect her. Your god did. several times.
My girlfriend would never favor one of her children over another. Your God does ("Chosen people")
My girlfriend would never own a slave. Your God gave permission to rest them on Sunday.
My girlfriend would never tell me to stone those who don't believe in her, or those that offend her. Your God did (deuteronomy, etc.).

I wouldn't call it hypocricy... it isn't exactly the same thing. I don't believe in your god. In my belief system, I have a Goddess and a God with their respective aspects.
It is moral common sense that if a relationship is to continue that you are faithful to your spouse or significant other. Relationships are a two way street.
The gods will still love you regardless of whether you spend your life crawling on the ground grovelling to them or not. Frankly, they would rather you life your life well and foster the greater good of all... what better form of praise is there?

Because by submitting to God, you are infringing on their time and space with you. There are believers that marry nonbelievers, which ends up causing them to choose.....rock or hard place. Many obstacles will come up. Assume the husband is the believer here. Wife wants a new purse. Husband says they can't afford it right now, then turns around and tithes $240 that month. Wife throws a fit because she could have bought 5 purses for that amount.
Who is right?
Those kinds of issues cause the problems you are speaking of.

This is what has been thought, so to do likewise we would have to be thought not to. Its not hypocritical because being a hypocrite is what we have been thought, it thur-out the bible & laws, ask what can you sell today, do you have something better that a christ to sell to the mass of people a way of living, no no one has anything beter to offer than God, and we like God are hypocritical

Well God may or may not exist.. there is no real evidence either way so until I find that evidence I don't submit to something I don't think may be there.
Secondly, not everyone makes everyone jump when they snap their fingers. My husband is a christian and he hasn't changed at all nor would I want him to.

You're right.
We should all be worshipping Rah, the one tru god!
Ohh, wait. That is not what you had in mind is it?
And desiring that your spouse remain faithful is out of respect and love, not submission.

we have all been already submitted. done! we are now in a state of submission as well as immersion. refusing to submit is refusing to live. if you live, you are of god
