Im watching Channel 4 right now.
Basically what Law enforcement does is trick guys into thinking they are young, pre and pubescent girls so that the guys will come to their sting house site - get embarrased and get arrested.
My point is, why are we wasting money in this manner when:
#1 Young girls in schools who are in heat will date older classmates or experiment with guys they meet anyway simply because they are ovulating and going out of their minds...
#2 Older guys with money still get young girls just cause they have flashy cars or enough money to fly to Asia for some "LOVE YOU LONG TIME" from a 13 year old girl in Vietnam/Cambodia, etc
#3 GUNS are more dangerous, kill more people and are far greater danger to the multitude then the possibility of some young girl losing her virginity to an old guy and ending up on Maury Povich's show.
I believe we waste money on sex predators because the law is male dominated and sexually frustrated.

WTF? Not all teen girls "experiment" with guys just because they have a high hormone levels...most would rather be more careful, actually! And if they do "experiment", it's their choice and,if they use the right protection, it's not going to leave them sick for the rest of their lives
But when an older man you've never met in your life kidnaps and rapes you, he is most probably about to murder you. And if he doesn't, he'll leave a psychological scar in you for the rest of your life. He can also get you pregnant and you'll have to deal with even more stress. There has to be a law against that. But I also agree that guns are dangerous and something should be done about them. I know that if a sexual predator didn't have a gun, I'd fight him, but if he did, I would be too scared to do anything. ...maybe money should be spent on both of these things?

Well I agree they may kill more people now but think of the out come of a world full of kids prayed on by petafiles that are very mentally damaged by it and they grow up with issues doing drugs to numb the pain and using guns to get them or what ever the case may be its a kind of eliminating some problems before they occure and no man over 18 should be interested in a child under 18 male female theres no difference

First off because it is still a crime. These guys take advantage of young impressionable girls who lack self esteem or just don't know better. Even if the girls come to their senses and say no, they still risk being raped. The other reason is that after these girls have been treated like crap and raped, what happens to them? They grow up with psychological problems and turn to substance abuse at an extremely high rate. So in effect, by working to catch sex predators we are fighting the drug problem.

Frankly, I don't think sting operations engineered to keep our children safe are a waste of money. It's past time the crimes of these predators were brought into the light and way past time people stopped living in denial. It can happen to you and people you love. It doesn't just happen to "someone else".
Secondly, people kill people. Guns are just a tool. Guns have no personality, no emotions, no legs or arms or trigger fingers. If guns weren't around, people would pick up knives or frying pans or sledgehammers and use those.

That is your opinion and it is heard. We live in a Society where it has gone havoc for some individuals that posses an mean streak in their blood to harm and become a menace to Society and they are Pedophiles, Murders, Rapist, drug Dealers...etc
IN Alabama right now, the Governor wants to pass a bill that if you are a convicted child molester that becomes habitual.,..you get the death penalty.
IN Georgia a major bust got $100,000 worth of Ecstasy off the streets.
Now what else shall we talk about?

its entirelya matter of perspective. Why do police officers patrol neighborhoods after dark when we all know the bad guys are hanging around downtown...why? Because laws are laws, and all laws must be enforced otherwise they are meaningless. Old guys should stay away from young schoolgirls anyway. Perverts should all go to jail, were hopefully they spend the rest of their lives getting loved long time by gangs of amourous cons.

You missed parts of what the sting operations are really about as well.
But the next time a gun walks up to me and says I'ld like to kill someone today and pulls it's own trigger I'll call channel 4 for you.
Also if I run across a drug that wants to be injected into someone so they can die I'll let the news station know!
Think about it drugs and guns don't kill people, you have to have a human being to use either one... people kill people....
What happened to you? Do you understand the lifelong scars people can give to other people....
I think you need to seek help with your angry and bitterness because it seems to me something has happened to you so you are outraged and need help.

Sex predators hurt those they pray upon. No matter how willing a young person is to have sex with an older partner, it still puts them in emotional situations that they are not prepared for.
Predators also lie to the victims to get what they want. No perv that tells a 13 year old he loves her really loves her.
I wonder about your motivation for asking this question.

So it's ok for people to be sexually assaulted and for perverts to take advantage of the innocence of children, because noone dies? Unless you've lived the life of an adolescent who was taken advantage of then you have no idea what they go through. All crimes, especially those against children, deserve as much time and consideration as police can give them.
