They do not believe in the historical reliability of the Bible or trust what it says about Jesus nor what Jesus said about himself. The Jesus of the Bible is a fairy tale, a myth. Who do they go to Church and worship? Why do they go to church at all? Is it because they follow a man made-up religion only to try and make people feel good? They are a sad bunch!

Yeah, and you're an asshole. Why can't you just let people believe what they want to believe? I mean, I worship a guy who dedicated his life to slack, and I'm not mocking your belief system.

Praise the sweet name of JR "Bob" Dobbs.

The underlying assumption of the Jesus Project was that they reject any supernatural aspect of the Bible. Thus all of His miracles, even though they were attested to by his detractors and are supported by extra-Biblical manuscripts, were assumed to be myth.
