So me and my ex brokeup about 2 weeks ago after a 3 month (that's his longest relationship yet)I dumped him , and several friends think he still has feeling for me.I moved on so my question is homecoming is coming up in a couple weeks and another guy who we both know asked me so if you were the guy and your ex girlfriends moved on would your rather here from her that she is going with someone or from someone else.Me and the guy are just goinjg as friends but I'm trying to be considerate to my exs feeling since I didn't do a standup job with the whole breakup thing.
The question is : who would you rather hear your ex is going with someone else to a dance her or another person(gossip mill)?

You should do the telling if you want to respect him. It might be a little awkward but he'll respect you for it. When you hear something through the gossip mill it hurts a lot more because you think that person was trying to keep it from you....yeah not pretty. Just tell him.

well since u moved on let it go and not worry about it......
however if u are still friends I might casually mention that so and so
invited me to the prom. Other wise let it be it would hurt more if
u told him, like rubbing salt in an open wound.

well if you moved on then go with someone else and you wouldn't care if he went with someone else. but i mean if you just say that you did and didn't then yea that might be a problem but if you did, you should be fine.

Tell your ex that you are going with this guy. He may not appreciate it, but it is nice that you are thinking of his feelings.
