Don't. It's REALLY unhealthy. If you want to lose weight fast, do the Atkins diet or cut out carbs. Have most of your carbs in the morning, a little bit for lunch, and try to have none for dinner...Anyway, everyone I know that's tried the Atkins diet has lost some major weight. Only problem is, once you get off it, you'll gain weight again.

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

You cannot lose ten pounds of fat in one week.

It is only healthy to lose 1% of your body weight per week. Often, people will lose more their first few weeks on a diet, but this is just water weight that they had been retaining.

Eat five or six small meals a day. Make sure you get a minimum of 1200 calories, more if you are working out. Drink at LEAST 64 ounces of water a day. Eat plenty of lean protein, whole grains, fruit, and vegetables. Work out regularly, cardio and weight training. Get a personal trainer if you can afford it, even if it is only for one or two sessions. Talk to your doctor about your weight and eating habits.

Do not crash diet or try any fads!

Arghhhhh!
You LOSE ten pounds. You don't loose them!!!

If you're looking for a quick weight loss, try drinking eight glasses of water a day, cut out bread, cakes and cookies, and eat mostly fruits and veggies.

Not a good idea unless you are extrememly overweight and under a doctor's supervision. Otherwise you are just asking for trouble.

The liquid diet will do that. Eat only cabbage soup (water and chopped cabbage with any combination of spices you care to add) for all 3 meals on Day 1. Take a multi-vitamin tablet. Walk around the block before each meal.

Drink a full 12 ounces of water as soon as you wake up, before and after breakfast, before and after lunch, before and after dinner and if you feel hungry, have a snack of cabbage soup and another glass of water. You can add more glasses of water - but only water or water with some fresh squeezed lemon in it.

Day 2, drink a full glass of water as soon as you get up, eat a half grapefruit for breakfast with a glass of water. Take a multi-vitamin tablet. For lunch, it's cabbage soup again - but you can add celery to it this time - and any seasonings you care to add. Drink a glass of water before and after lunch. For dinner, more water, more cabbage soup and for a snack, the other half of the grapefruit - with a glass of water. At all meals, eat enough soup to fill yourself up. Walk around the block before each meal.

Day 3, drink a glass of orange juice as soon as you wake up. For breakfast, you can splurge and add 2 slices of cooked bacon to the cabbage soup. For lunch, water and cabbage soup. For dinner, cabbage soup and water. For a snack, a glass of orange or grapefruit juice. Take a multi-vitamin tablet. Walk around the block before each meal.

Day 4, drink a glass of water, orange or grapfruit juice as soon as you wake up. Have one banana for breakfast with a glass of water. For lunch and dinner, cabbage soup. Evening snack - another banana with a glass of water or cup of unsweetened tea. Take a multi-vitamin tablet. Walk around the block before each meal.

Day 5, 6 and 7, repeat of Day 1.

You cannot have any refined sugars, you cannot add any sweeteners to meals and not even splenda on your grapefruit. You cannot drink sodas nor coffee.

You will be lightheaded, you will feel hungry all the time, you will lose 10 or more pounds, you will be malnourished and will likely gain it all back as soon as you stop this diet - but in a pinch, it works.

Recommended? Absolutely not. Not by a nutritionist, not by any doctor and not by anyone that's concerned about your health. But you didn't seem too concerned about your health. If you want to lose 10 pounds in a week, this diet will do it. Oh, and it will make you very unfavorable with your friends, because the cabbage will make you pass enough gas to fuel a space shuttle - twice.

Never go on this diet if you have any known medical issues or low blood sugar problems.
