Just ask yourself this: What church would God go to? Of course you would say "God doesn't go to church". You have to remember that the Old Testament is for the most part a historical chronicle of a certain group of people. The New Testament is of another group centered around one man, Jesus Christ. Religion is a manmade concept so there can be no true religion based solely on the "Word of God".

Trying to prove that there is no God can't happen. There have been countless numbers of scientists that have tried to prove that and ended up converting to Christianity. The Bible can't be disproved because all written documents of historic events add up to other documents not related to the Bible. Time lines, family trees, everything. There are also other documents like the Seven Dead Sea Scrolls that have been found to back up the Bible. Even the Muslim and Judaism religions are both in agreement to what happened to separate them in the first place to a certain extent. That agreement is the beginning story of both found in the Old Testament. No one can prove that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose within three days and was taken up to heaven. That has to be taken in faith. However, other documents other than the Bible attest to the fact of his actual existence on earth and his influence of people worldwide, both back in his day and up into ours. Also a large pare of prophecy in teh Bible adds up to events that are happening across the world today.
Albert Einstein dedicated a large part of his life trying to disprove Christianity and died a Christian. You can't "prove" Christianity. It's a belief based solely on faith, trust, and love. The bare facts are, however, that you can't disprove it either.

Does it really matter to you what any Christian thinks or says. Probably not, so why ask the question. It is not a religion, it is the Bible and it is the Word of God. You prove that it is not.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Faith is not knowledge, it simply a belief. If everyone could just come to terms with the fact that they are actually ignorant to the idea of any true God then life would be so much less complicated.

Now, why would you ask a question like this? Do you realize how many terrifying things will be said? I am an Atheist. I'm not saying my religion is true, and I'm not saying that it isn't... but I do know that it has more evidence other than a book and a magicion to prove it.

Religion is man made. Jesus never once taught about what religion was right or wrong. He simply taught the truth. And the simple truth is this. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And love our neighbor as our self. If you can find any relevant mention of any organized religion such as Catholic or Lutheran, please let all on this web site in what bible you found it.
Besides, it is about a personal relationship with God. Not whether we should be a member of this group or that group.
Read your bible if you doubt any of this.

There are some very good books that make the case why christinity is the only way to God. (Who Moved The Stone?, Evidence That Demands a Verdict, He Walked Among Us, More Than a Carpenter, etc. You can find these in any decent book store. If you seriously want to know, study and look into it and I think you will see that christianity is based on sound evidence and logical reasonability.

Anyone who believes in religion thinks that theirs is the only true one. Let people beleive what they want as long as they don't violently try to impose their beliefs on others.

Possibly you could never do it.....Personally I think the best religion is to practice what you preach. do unto others as you would have them do to you and failing that there is my favourite KARMA "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND" Cheers .. And lighten up a little.. every day you wake with your head above the ground is bound to be a good day!
