I suppose so. My friend is having an op to fix her hearing loss, but mine is genetic as well as environmental, so it wouldn't help me. I assume dogs are the same.

I do not think so.
It would be very painfull for the dog and could result in some serious problems for him.
Not to mention that it would be very expensive to do.

The vet would have to decide on that after an exam.
