I don't have a dauschund, I actually have a husky/lab mix that is 2 1/2....My best friend is a vet tech. Why do you ask?

Ours was Sophie. She was about 15 years old when we adopted her from our local shelter. She had been dumped on the busiest highway, and left to die. She was near blind, deaf and suffered from epilepsy. She stayed with us for 2 years when she became very ill (her kidneys failed).

We had Domino, who was mother to Maggie a black one from the same litter named charlie brown which we gave to my grandmother.... 70s
