ok now, i like this guy named brett. he's in my art class and we have a lot of things in common. we like the same bands (never talked about it, can tell from the band tees) have the same shoes (converse chuck taylors) and we are both in art. there are some other things but they are trivial and dont matter as much. we are both really timid, so its hard for us to talk to each other. we have had a few conversations, but he kept saying really stupid things in a really serious tone, like he was nervous. today we kept looking at each other, and when we saw the other looking, we looked down. do you think he likes me and if he does then how do i get him to approach me? i really like him a lot so its really important. no sarcastic answers please.

It does sound like he likes you. However, you can't get him to do anything, so you should approach him. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain, so go for it!

Should tell him how you feel. If you're too shy, what i did last time is that i call my secret admire. Sometime i wrote letter and e mail. But i can say, talk to him in person sure have the edge and more advantage.
Love is a lasting forever thing. So take your time. and no rush. Boys look at 2 things, prettyness and good personality. You know what pretty is. Good personality is the way u act and speak and how u behave yourself, also how u conduct yourself. They often look for good qualities. This is quite a tough area to improve. In other words, if they like u, means they really like u. If not, then, don't be sad and give up like others do, maybe there's still a chance u can improve.

Sometimes the truth will set you free. Just say to him that you think you have a lot in common since you noticed his shirts and shoes. Just go for a Coke or something and don't try too hard to say you think you like him. Just find an excuse to hang out with him and time will do the rest. And yes, he definitely likes you.

You need to try to talk to him. Maybe comment on one of his shirts, that you like the same music. Some guys are so shy that you will have to make him feel comfortable talking to you. Take it slow and easy hopefully he will warm up with a little time and patience. Good Luck!

just go talk to him. if both of you are kind of shy then you either need to get the guts to talk to him or forget about it.
