My answer would be...ask God to show you he is real...then relax and live life and watch and learn...God is real...He is the one who created you and wants nothing more than to have you come to him....the problem is though is people talk to him and because he doesn't move when they say they give up....we must wait on his timing and not ours....He is the creator no us....

I'm not sure any of my experiences will "do it" for you. There are people all over the world that have experienced God in many different ways. If you don't know their stories, why not check it out?
Of course, you could argue that we are all either crazy, or stupid, or delusional, or just brainwashed, or something like that. I hear crap like that a lot. It is just tooooooo easy to slam somebody elses' experiences, or assume that they are trying to deceive you for some reason (usually money).
Here is a thought: seek out your own experience with God. Since you are not convinced by others' tales about their experiences with God, reach out to Him yourself. Yup, that means pray. Talk to Somebody you aren't even sure exists, and ask Him to let you know if He is there or not. Don't be wishy-washy about it, and don't try to use a bunch of high-sounding religious talk. Just be honest and be yourself, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
You may be suprised at the answer.

I feel so sorry for you.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God to those who are chosen. If you have heard the word of God and it appears foolishness........
If a man were in a burning building and you throw him a line to get out and he questions it. He will die.
It is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment.
Then the second death, which is eternal separation from God.

Thanks for the chance to help you, wow do I feel the pressure, Help me Father to say the right thing! I would really like for you to read Romans or even John 3:16-18 if you can. If you turn to God and tell Him you want to believe, you want to accept Christ died for you, you ask His help to show you the way. Do you realize you and everyone on this earth is a sinner? Jesus was the only one who did not sin, yet the one who was without sin took on all our sin and shed His blood to cover that sin, so that God could see us as sinless and accept us into His family as His children forever! I can promise you God is there, if you pray and ask for forgiveness and accept what Christ did when he died on the cross for your sin, God will hear you! God will forgive you! Then He will be with you always! Please dear one, I care for you, because I am a child of God and I want you to have the gift of salvation that I have, I want you to have a relationship with God that only comes through Jesus Christ! God be with you now and always!

I'm not going to use up my one chance to try to make you believe in God.
It would be easier for me to tell you that not everyone thinks you are wrong to be an atheist. I am not an atheist, but my belief that a higher power does exist is not going to sway you one way or the other. You have a right to your own thoughts and beliefs and the higher power isn't going to cease to exist because of your choice not to believe in his/her existence.
We're all equal....and sppel chekk is optional. Have fun and enjoy life!
