dreams mean lots of things i had a friend who could read dreams it useally means something serious will happen or something that did happen or you lefted the t.v on..(seriously something with t.v and dream waves i learned in health class)
anyways it may just means what is to come or it means what you want it to become of not trying to be offening but you never said you lovd the dog or not so iam goin off the walls so dont take me trying to be offenvie iam tryin to answer your problem seriously :) anyways think about it a bit or ask a friend and see what they think

Dreaming of dog or pet dying could mean that you may have neglected taking care of your own pets.
Felling off a balcony = losing control
However, in your case, it may not be the dog. There may be another possibilities. Projecting dog is only a symbol. It may also mean that you are stressed and could have lost control in reality. Again, two possibilities.

certain! My mom suffered distinct strokes. She did not recognize who i develop into anymore.She couldn't feed herself or perhaps swallow!
