how could i make my wavy hair look neat with a hair dryer? it's too limp, its wier. straight at the top and then wavy at the ends.. would i need mousse too? or a curling iron to create loose curls? i've tried both but they come out looking either too poofy or too curly. what am i doing wrong?

You should go to the place where you get your haircut and ask to get your hair straightened out. When your hair is straight, ask if they know where crimpers are sold. When your hair is wavy, enjoy your look!

my hairdresser showed me a way to do it - i comb through a curly styling product - usually a mouse. The top layer of my hair is less wavy, so I take a few sections and twist them. then when I'm drying, I use high heat and low blow, take a handful of hair and scruch it. while I'm holding it scrunched I hit it with the air until it gets hot, remove the air, and let it cool while I'm still scrunching. it takes a little time, but I get really pretty natural looking waves this way.
it's important to have a good cut too, layers make it easier

if you want really nice way hair after you blow dry, use a curling iron and do ringlets....don't let it sit on the iron for too long.
