moreover, the romans weren't interested in killing Jesus. they wanted to let him go. they kept asking the jews to pardon him, but they refused, and they kept saying "what has he done wrong?" they only executed him to appease the jews.

If you are addressing this to bitter atheists. Most don't have any real complaints about Jesus. It seems like if he existed he was pretty smart and taught a lot of good things. The problems comes from people who start bending Jesus's teachings for their own purposes (then comes the genocide, hate, etc.).

I assume you're directing this question at people other than Christians who have "been saved." You seem to be thinking that non-saved people are angry or bitter at Jesus? If that's not the underlying subtext of your question, then please clarify.

Let me say that I am an atheist with respect to the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament). I think it is all myth. The foretelling of a Messiah was myth. I expect there is a good chance that there really was a man who who as an wandering apocalyptic Jew who taught the parables that are recorded in the New Testament. There doesn't seem to be reliable independent confirmation of his existence, but I accept the argument that the New Testament wouldn't have arisen from nothing. However, I don't believe the miracles attributed to Christ. Even the gospels aren't consistent with respect to the miracles. I think the miracles were added as embellishments during the time period that the first Christians were telling the stories orally.

So what did Jesus do to me? Well, nothing directly. I have certainly been affected by people who do all sorts of things in his name. My complaint is more with organized religions, not with Christ himself.

Jesus died for my sins, yes. But, there are some other amazing things He has done for me. He saved my life when I was in a car accident, when I clinically would have died. Jesus has also provided me with the money that I have needed for my bills and for food on the table since I have gone through a very hard stuggle with my finances lately. He has given me a family who loves and supports me instead of parents who would beat me or abuse me. The list is too long to mention about the good things God has done for me.

I think the question is more like what has he ever done for me. I was raised in a very strict, stifling, christian home and church and school. My childhood was crap. I was molested by a neighbor who was the son of the minister of the church across the street, (not my church) who went unpunished.
I went to my church several times a week, read the bible, prayed diligently every day that my life would improve, that my dad would love me, etc.
Then when I was 17, I realized that I had been wasting my time, that prayer was just another superstition, and I got out on my own and never set foot in a christian church again. And that has made all the difference.
It's nice that you think Jesus is helping you with life, but he didn't do **** for me. I'm helping myself thank you.
Peace

He did a lot to me, besides dieing for my sins. He infected me with His love. I never knew what love was until I discovered the love of God. On that day, I had the greatest peace and joy that I could not imagine. I couldn't stop smiling, the trees and the flowers were as if I were seeing them for the first time. What I am really trying to say and for a lack of better words. I began living, literally living the day I discovered the love of Christ.

Jesus didn't die. The Koran says (Jesus=ISA)

GOD DIDN'T LET JESUS to be tortured.

4.157] And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

GOD HAS NO SON!!! Koran says

4.171] O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

REMEMBER - when Abraham wanted to sacrifice his son GOD sent him a sheep. Why our GOD should sacrifice so called his SON Jesus?

i was in a very bad place in my life when i was a kid. abusive to my siblings and hateful. jesus gave me joy, hope... i'm a much happier and content person now than i ever would be if i didn't accept jesus. he's spoken to me on multiple occasions (told me to become a youth pastor... told me not to be so boy crazy and to wait a year to date.) every time i've taken his advice, i've been blessed. now i'm married to my best friend of 8 years... the 15th is our 2 month anniversary...
i thank God for all that he's done for me... not just for me, but for my friends and family as well...

Don't let the answers upset you. Recognition and appreciation for what Jesus did and His signifigance in one's life is seen through eyes made able to appreciate the gospel message. It is foolishness to all others.

I don't really understand your question. Jesus never did anything TO me, but He did do something FOR me, He died on the Cross for my sins, so I will go to Heaven. He is a wonderful Saviour and I love Him. May God bless you.

Sorry, jesus did not die for my sins.

1.) Jesus died because he was a threat to roman and jewish authority.

2.) I have no sin. Only christians have sin.
