Verse 32 in the New Living Translation:

They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

Actually, the verse you're speaking of is an admonition of homosexuality in so much as it has been translated to say that. Given the Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and later in Greek and Latin, it may surprise you to know that the passage did not in fact deal with homosexuality but prostitution and the use of children for sex. Big difference, and sadly one that Christians use erroneously without end.

Letters from Saul of Tarsus (Paul) to the early christian community he established in Rome. Paul was someone who never met Jesus, was raised in an anti-gay culture, and was a dominant and charismatic figure. The result was that his opinions on things were included as part of the new testament.

Most gay people are born that way. If you would read what science has to say instead of an old book of superstitions you would know this.

I also find it hillarious how many of the christians who bash and banish gays, have themselves engaged in devient acts like:
pre-marital sex, adultry, orgies, mulitiple divorces (what happened to death till us part?).

Next time you go to church, look around. Count the number of people that you KNOW have had pre-marital sex and extra marital affairs....They are welcomed, but gays aren't???

I've known some gay people and they were no different than anybody else. Most of them were good people.

The only curse of homosexuality is the string of curses hurled at us by the religious and the bigoted.

It is one of the places that explains what happens when you get involved in the sin of sodomy. You end up with a reprobate mind, and God finally gives up on you.
