How important is a successful woman to you in deciding whether you want to settle down with her? What's more important: a successful woman or how you feel about her?
Successful like she is a corporate's exec making 6 figures, etc. And let's assume you have a pretty good job as well, maybe not as good as hers.

I don't think career success means a thing to most guys when it comes to a relationship. Personally I would hope to find someone who can help pay the bills and can get time off and help pay for travel. And I would be worried if I met a girl who seemed lazy and unmotivated.
When it comes to realizing that someone is the love of my life, nothing else is very important.

I would think that if a woman and man want each other then no job is going to stop them from being togather.Keep in mind that a CEO is going to have all her time taken up by the job as that is how she got to the top. I would not put too much demand on her as you take a woman for what she is not for what you want her to be. If she is a workaholic then you love her for that and dont try to change her. I think I could make it work by having my own intrests and help her when I could even if its just being there for her to come home to.

Success comes and goes, but I do look at whether a woman is a business professional. I like a woman with a college education and who is smart and intuitive. Since I value that in a woman I will be naturally attracted to someone like that and it will affect how I feel about her. But that is a personal preference.
I suspect you may be asking this question about yourself, and my advice is, be who you want to be and find a guy that can appreciate that.

well if your a shallow and possession oriented person then I suppose that a great job and a well to do wife is a must if there is love and you both are well to do then kudos . but If you are looking for happiness it shouldn't worry you if your wife didn't have a job at all, as long as you could make ends meet and life was good .after all she is your partner in life and love not business You take a woman as she is and if you have to change her then you were never in love with the real person at all

Homemaker any day.
"Successful" women are never successful in relationships. They tend to want too much, and never relax or enjoy life. Good for paying the bills, but other than that, couldn't see why anyone would want one of those corporate chicks...

I honestly couldn't care less what my girl does for a living....she could be a corporate exec making 6 figures, or she could be a waitress...it really doesn't matter.
