It does make reference to this in the bible, it does not however say that it is a mortal sin. Read the following letter written by a Southern Baptist Preacher who put a lot of effort and research into trying to dispel the belief that homosexuality is a sin. He addresses each reference in the bible about homosexuality.

You'll see several passages that refer to sex between same-sex partners, but nothing about "loving a same-sex partner." That concept was foreign to the writers of the Bible.
In this age we've allowed ourselves to value love between spouses more highly than at any time in the past. People marry now for love, divorce when love ends, and remarry when they find love anew.
For the most part, this concept was not a component of the marital life in the Bible. People then married mostly for property and to procreate children. To them, love really had nothing to do with it.
But now that we see love as the defining characteristic of marriage, it makes little sense to deny equality to same-sex couples who experience the same love and devotion to one another as heterosexual couples.

The problem is not loving. We are called to love all people. Sex with someone other than a spouse of the opposite sex is clearly condemned in the bible as a sin and the wages of sin is death. Sex does not = love!

The Christian Bible tells you, in fact, to love everyone. All are children of God.
But it does tell you to not have sex with a same-sex partner.

Romans 1:21-32 explains this, but repentance fasting and prayer can break this thing. God loves you enough to die for you, which he did.
Give him a chance you will find out he is real. I had all sorts of problems when I met the Lord, he proved himself real to me and put me on the right path, it is the best thing that ever happened to me. I was at the point of despare, even of life. And it shocked me to find out God was real, I though he was just out there somewhere but didn't care about me, he proved me wrong.

By loving you mean? Sexual or loving... Like I laid my life down for my brother because I loved him? but if you mena sexually then It is in Leivticus 18:22, Our brother PAUL also spoke on this to the Romans about sexual immorality and in 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-10 ...... It's pretty good

To lie with mankind, as with womankind is an abomination (Lev.18:22, Lev.20:13 below). The effeminate and the abusers of themselves with mankind shall not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor.6:9-10 below).
As a member of the body of Christ (Col.1:24), such as these are washed, and sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of God (1 Cor.6:11 below).

Homosexuality is condemned many times in the bible. There is no justification to being gay. Sorry but you'll just have to stop being a Christian unless you don't mind burning in hell...
