According to how elaborate you finish it, you can figure about 70-80 per ft. and it is different in diff areas of the country, if you are in the USA.My brother builds homes at an average of $75. per sq. ft.I just asked him the ohter day. We live in Northeast Texas in the rural area and he builds homes for about 100 miles around. Best wishes!

The people who bought our old home budgeted $30,000 to finish the basement into a living area.. The square footage was approximately 450, so about $67/sq.ft. This was for an average/economy job - they were not by any stretch going for a luxury job.

find out how much square footage you have. pick out the materials you are wishing to do like flooring, paneling or dry wall. find out how much per square footage these all cost you. If you do it yourself then there shouldn't be any labor paid out.
