If she broke up with her bf two weeks ago and she tells you to wait then it could be that she really means it. I guess that you have a good chance if you wait for two weeks. If you really want her then I advise you to do nothing in this time with other girls. It is not a control thing as others said. It is a "I clear my mind" thing. I had a similar situation and had to wait 4 weeks, but after this 4 weeks i was with her together for 12 years.

Stalk her for the 2 weeks. It's the best way to be sure she's really worth calling.
