I know I would.

The mining industry has an experienced but aging workforce with a mean average age of 50 years and median of 46 years. Indeed, while the industry will require new employees to meet future demand, the largest dilemma currently facing mine operators is finding employees to fill vacancies left by a generation of miners, mine engineers, senior managers, technical experts and others who are set to retire between 2005 and 2015...I'd buy every last one of those dusty old blokes a cold one if I could!

I certainly would, those guys work very hard underground and deserve a good beer after work. I would never refuse a miner his just due, could you imagine working down there in the heat and sweating and then coming up above ground and not being able to get a beer???? What a sacrifice. Yes I will sell beer to miners every day of the week.

I am sorry, did you mean MINORS? In that case, hell no, why should I risk jail time to give some underage kid beer, if they want it bad enough they will shoplift it or steal it from their parents.
I know, I did.

Sure, miners work long hard hours underground, digging tunnels, and looking for precious stones or metals. They could use a beer after a hard day of work. Of course, I would have to be certain the miner was not a MINOR before I sold him a beer.

An "of age" miner - yes, just because they work in a mine doesn't mean that they shouldn't be able to purchase beer; a minor as in a person under the legal drinking age - no, I wouldn't.

Yes, I would sell beer to a miner, they work hard in those mines and need a drink. I wouldn't sell it to minors though.

Yeah, nothing wrong with selling alcohol to miners. Except that I am a minor, so I can't really sell alcohol to anyone.

By the way, spellcheck doesn't correct word usage and since miner is a word, it wouldn't correct him, assuming he isn't asking this as a trick question/joke.

Every good miner deserves a beer. Not a minor, though.

I believe that it is OK to sell beer to a Miner. Just because someone works in a mine does not mean that they do not deserve a cold one. Now it is illegal to sell alcohol to a minor, that is someone below the legal drinking age. You dumb dummies.

Of course. Such a stressful life miners lead. I'd buy him a beer myself with a chilled glass to boot.
