You might like him more than you think you do, but I suspect that you're just afraid that since you've known him so long and had such a great history with him, that she's going to come in and take up all his time and attention, leaving you out in the cold. I think you're just afraid she'll come in between you two and you'll lose the best friend you've ever had. It's hard when things have been the same for so long and you really like how they were, only to find that they are suddenly changing in a direction that doesn't look like it will benefit you. If you do think you might be developing feelings for your friend, hold off before you tell him, because it may just be a crush brought on by your insecurity over the fear of losing him as a friend, and not real romantic feelings. It's ok to let him know that you're feeling insecure, but it's not ok to expect him to put you first or to give her up for you.

Well you envy her . . . the girl he's dating (you might be saying) is because you are jealous, you wish you were her in a way that you and your best friend could be together . . . more like forever.

I don't want to be offensive . . . I'm just saying if you like him, then tell him . . . it's worth a try. And never give up but don't pass the limits.

Ciao,
Take the honest advice!

because for so long you were the girl in his life, not romantically, but still the only one. It bothers you because she will be able to have a part of him that you never can.

It does not necessarily mean that you like him romantically, it just means you are jealous. It'll either pass, or get worse. But the best thing yoiu can do is tell him you are jealous of her, not that you LIKE him, but just that are jealous

dont listen to anyone hu says its becuse u hav romantic feelings for him. maybe you do, but here, u probably feel jealous because he spent a lot of time with you, and now he wont be as close as u used to be or sumthn. dont worry, if u guys are real good friends, he wont see u any different.being jealous is sumthn tht everybody does, so no harm done, unless u run aftr her with a knife.

Either you have a crush on him. or
Probably most likely you feel like she is replacing you, or encroaching on your territory. I think that's pretty normal. But don't be mean to her or act differently around him unless you have a reason. And you might want to tell him how you feel, so he doesn't get confused if you do act differently.

You may not romantically like him, but you do care about him and his friendship to you, you may not want to date him, but you may be jealous at all the attention he's giving her, and takign away from you, either that, or you like him, but everyone will say that....
