Umm, I've eaten there once, and it's true, the girls stuff their breasts in your face, and if you are with a guy, the hooter girls focus most of their attention on them rather than you.....and they are very flirtatious.......and I even saw little boys with their "biker" type dads, carrying balloons saying "hooter virgin" and stuff and then they play games with all the girls asses and boobs hanging out, more for older people or just men in general, not kids at all. It's denifately not a family restaraunt.....

I don't find it very entertaining to go to Hooters. Maybe that is because I am a girl, but I think that it has more to do with the environment itself. I don't find the food to be anything spectacular, especially for the price, and I haven't ever been to one where customer service has topped the list of importance for it's employees. Granted, they tailor more towards the males, but what are men interested in? A lot of large chests, a lot of food for a little bit of money, and a great place to watch sports. I don't think that Hooters has all 3 of those ever.
As for it being a family restaurant, I dont' see it being a problem taking your children to it, as long as your waitress doesn't give you a lap dance and motorboat your face in between her you-know-what's.

Any Hooter's I've been into has has very good food and I walked out very pleased. As far as children, I do NOT think it is a good place to take kids. The servers are very nice and respectable people but, some people who are dining get carried away with drink, vocabulary, and the shapely curves of how well built most of the women are. I have been in when a group of men came in after a ball game and got carried away.

We take pictures for our local hooters stores and we just went to the Hooter's International swimsuit contest in Las Vegas. It IS a family restaurant and they do have corporate standards, but they are independently owned so each restaurant may vary.

I went to hooters last week, I thought it was totally funny. It was nothing like I thought it was. The girls didnt have on shirts that were too tight like Ive heard. I did think thier shorts were a little too short though. And I really wouldnt want to take kids there. But other than that it's a neat restaurant.

At first I thought it was like a bar with half naked girls running around, but I went with some friends and I saw that people of all ages are there. The girls where shorts and tanks, like a cheer-leading practice uniform. I think it is kinda okay for as a family restaurant for older kids, only because the girls are not as revealing as I thought. However, I do not know if they have banned smoking in public places everywhere and you may not want to bring a kid if there is smoke. It is kinda like a sports bar with families there. But I wouldn't bring my family there because its a sports bar and what kid needs to be around that?!

It's not a family restaurant due to waitresses' dress and name of establishment.

a restaurant that stuff a woman's breasts in your face while you are eating and they have the nerves to call it a family restaurant ... Yeah I don't think so...
A restaurant that exploits women... should not be in business at least not with the regular restaurants they should have stayed in the red light district where it belongs.

No, it is definately not a family restaurant. It operates solely on the objectification of women and we should raise our boys to respect women for more than their looks and raise girls to respect themselves enough to not allow themselves to be objectified.
The food sucks anyway.
