i don't know what to do.. i've dated this person for almost a year and a half and i love them more than the world and they've hurt me in the past but they've changed. but then i started talking to their ex just as friends and we've gotten close... too close.... i'm starting to like them. and i think my lover is proposing on my birthday (i've caught hints) and i want to say yes but then i think about their ex and how hurt they would be! what should i do?!?

do what will make you happy in the long run. But be fair to both of their feelings too. Be honest with yourself and them.
