You thought it would be ten easy steps??? Get real!

Desire to help the needy and the sick
willing to abide by ethics
Forgiving those who want to defame u.
Giving the poor medicines in the form of samples u get.
Having some compassion for the sick.
Insight that others have feeling like u and are equally stressed bec they have placed ur trust in u.
Honest.
Accountable to ur actions good and bad decisions.
Responsibility to accept that u were the coz of others suffering.
Satisfied with what u have in life and not kill innocent people or test drugs to test ur hypothesis, and publish papers and go for vactions, while ur patients are suffering mentally, financially.
If u think u have these qualities then I think u have the school readiness to attend medical school.

3)watch e.r. (especially with pleasure because it's the only hour of tv you'll be able to watch)

Take high school biology, take other college-prep courses, stay in the top 5% of your class, score high on the ACT, score high on the SAT, take a pre-med course in college, stay in the top 5% of your college class also, score high on the medical acceptance test,apply for medical school, get accepted, attend and graduate from medical school, do clinicals in med school, spend 2 years as a resident, take and pass the medical board exams, and finally - you're in!

If you really wanted to be a Dr. this would be something that you already know, or something to talk to a school guidance counselor, not yahoo.answers. Let's hope that you are never my doctor, if you need someone to point out obvious examples, like graduate high school!
