I know that there is no definate time on this, but how do you know if you two are 'going steady' or are still friends who spend lots of time together and kiss??!

There's no finish line or official number. In my mind it's when you realise you're at ease around the person you're with, you phone them and you just talk away (no script if you know what i mean), you don't feel obligated to fill a silence or be funny and interesing just to impress, you don't mind sharing secrets etc etc. it's just this stage that kinda happens where you're comfortable with one another in this really cool way. That's when the word Girlfriend comes to my mind.

Well, if they always seem to be THERE and make your heart leap, and make you laugh and fancy them, it matters not a flying .... how many times you get together. Actually, the best lovers are also best friends, great when you think about it buy one get one free. Just enjoy the minute and don't get too serious because best to wait and make sure, or take a risk now and then - we all risk getting hurt in any relationship and will again, but its worth it. im not sure that it depends on how many dates you have, its more about the chemistry between two people. You could see someone in the street and instantly have a connection and without even dating you could have a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Im sure its reasonable to say that perhaps 3 dates would cut it, but hey, it depends on the people!

Sorry, it does not work that way. There must be an official decline or accept for one to belong to someone. It is most commonly initiated by the guy so you will have to lay hints. O yea dont give up the but to soon or it may never happen.

theres no number of dates. its how u guys feel. if u want to b boyfriend and girlfriend, you might not even have to take her out anyplace, its jus u guys like each othr an wana b more than friends. and by the way, friends dont kiss, or else i'm in the wrong dimension.

It just depends on the people and it usually takes about 3-6 weeks. ALL IN ALL IT JUST TAKES TIME

It depends on the people and the situation... it could be after one date or ten...
You just know when you're more than just friends!
