Notes for next time: Cook on high much longer - until quite brown, not just beige. Add more spices with a zing.

Not necessarily a favorite yet, but it could become one if I do it right. I'm making this one tonight:

Buffalo Tenders:

1 (28-ounce) package crispy chicken strips
2 (0.7-ounce) envelopes Italian salad dressing mix, divided
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 to 3/4 cup hot sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Ranch dressing

Place 1 package salad dressing mix in a large zip-top plastic bag; add chicken strips, and shake to coat. Place tenders on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan.

Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until browned.

Stir together remaining package of salad dressing mix, butter, and next 3 ingredients. Pour sauce over tenders, and bake at 400° for 5 more minutes. Serve with Ranch dressing.

Buffalo Tender Salad: Toss together romaine and iceberg lettuces, tomato wedges, sliced cucumber, and chopped onion. Top with Buffalo Tenders and croutons, and drizzle with Ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Yield: Makes 4 to 6 servings

Something really crispy like chicken from KFC is definitely NOT good for you, but I found a recipe that makes really good chicken tenders with much less fat...

Use bisquick reduced fat baking mix, and you can mix in different seasonings (I like Italian, but you can use whatever type of flavor that you would like) and mix the seasoning together with the baking mix. I usually crack some fresh pepper to go in the mix too. After I am finished, I put the mix into a rubbermaid container to get ready for the second step.

When I am done with that, I cut up boneless/skinless chicken breasts to smaller tender-sized pieces, and dip them in a beaten egg one at a time. I then put the egg covered chicken in the baking mix and shut the lid and shake it so that the batter covers the chicken (the egg helps the dry mixture stick to the chicken)

After coating all of the chicken pieces with the batter-like mixture, and placing them on a cookie sheet, I then drizzle a little melted butter or margarine over the chicken to add a little more moisture. Then, I put them into a preheated 350 degree oven. I wait for the top to get a little "crispy" or hard, so that when I flip the chicken over, the batter does not fall off.

When the chicken is done (about 15 min depending on your oven), let it cool just a little and get your dips ready. This can be anything from ketchup to bbq sauce, or honey, but my favorite things to dip this chicken in are creamy italian dressing, and creamy peppercorn dressing. It gives a little unique taste to something common and usually very boring.

Hope this helps :)

A lot of what people have reccommended will help you make a good fried chicken. No sense of my going over all of it.
Here's the missing ingredience you need that their missing.
Corn flakes....
work the best although you can use rice crispy's almost as well. Using a hammer crush the corn flakes(between a folded towel) and blend, for best reults, into a bakery bought bread crumbs.
For seriously crispy chicken...
drag your chicken thru a generous egg wash (salt and pepper your egg wash to taste)
roll in flour, shake well
and drag thru a generous 2nd egg wash
press chicken into and roll well in your bread crumb and corn flake combination and deep fry for the best crispy chicken ever.

First wash your chicken. Roll it in egg wash. Dip it in flour, then back in the egg. Last dip it in store bought or homemade bread crumbs. Fry in hot skillet where the oil covers the chicken. Turn when browned. Drain the oil after frying them. Be careful , they will cook fast. That means they can burn if you don't gauge the heat. This kind of chicken is easy and delicious.

I can't give you a better reciepe, but I got a suggestion. Whatever you use for your batter, cook it in a Fry Daddy. On the skillet is good, but the deep fryer or Fry Daddy taste better. Less healthy though.
