talk to their parents

I'd say talk to the kids and just ask them why are they taking them with out asking. Then, if your willing of course, offer to give them grapes if they help out with the garden or where ever they are growing. If they are young, maybe 5-12yrs old, they most like would take you up on the offer and you can actually teach them the basics of growing them, have a little help in the yard and possible make a friend.

If they turn out to be little jerks then talk to the parents to resolve the issue.

How many grapes do you need? Grape vines, even poor ones grow many!

Leave some bags out there with a note that says take some home, but please leave some for me, too. Either that or get out there and pick them yourself before the birds get drunk on them.

We have grape vines and berry bushes all over our yard, and don't mind if kids eat them. Is it taking money from your pocket, causing you harm? Surly they can't be taking that many. You should enjoy the neighborhood kids eating your grapes, it's possibly the healthiest food they eat.

SECURE (or it will just get stolen, laugh) a (non working) videcamera to a pole. It will deter kids from entering your yard, even if it is not actully working.

Another Idea is if it is somewhere within eye/hearing distance,
a sensor would work. Something that makes a noise. you can buy them from garden shops. I saw one, a big frog, it croaks when it senses something walking past.

Let the dog "visit" the grape vines before the miserable little punks make their next visit.

Let them, talk to them, talk to their parents, or cover your grapes with a net--it will keep kids and birds from eating your grapes.

just put them to work to "pay" for whatever grapes you catch them taking. if they are big enough to mow lawns, you can make out like a bandit on this deal. if they are too little to mow, you can still get them to rake leaves, sweep walkways, pick up fallen sticks. . . .
