All above ansers make sense, excpet they are "within the box".
My outside the box thinking tells me something is radically wrong with the World's last remianing Super Power.
If there exists massive weapons, then why not use them?
Why keep losing soldiers to sneak attacks and street conflicts?
Why not just eradicate the problem in one big series of bombings that takes them and the phony religious belief off the map, forever?
Why bother fighting with one hand tied behind your back?
I'm sick and tired of seeing the flag draped coffins.
It's time for some serious action.

Yes I do believe we are headed for Global War. Greed is what has driven our U.S. military campaigns presently, and the rest of the world is bound to step up and fight us, or join us...... Its only a matter of time.

Yes I do believe we are. It won't happen for a while yet but it will happen. All over religion. I first thought this after 9/11. It's bound to happen. There is so much turmoil in the world. When you really think about it, I mean really think about it how did we all get into this mess. I think we know the answer!

We almost certainly are. Terrorism is worldwide; those who embrace terrorism want to kill all who want freedom, especially Americans. How else can we win over terrorism except to find them and kill them? And if we don't get them first, they will surely kill us and those who survive will no longer be free.
