Depends, if your partner asks and is serious about trying it, then why not give it a go. You never know unless you try, right.

If it was a general question in a conversation and if I wanted to shock others and make them think different thoughts then sure why not say yes and then go into detail. But then again it might be a genuine question that someone wants to learn more information from, then honesty would be best, but always tainted with a little humour.

If it was a brand new partner and on the first date or first time together sexually, hmm, I think I'd shy away from it as I'd need to gain some more trust first.

Funny you should ask. it's a choice in personal preferance that mainstream society isn't 100% comfortable with yet. (give it another 15 years and it'll be as normal as church on sunday)
But as for your question: I'd not only say yes, I'd offer to show them a few tricks. Most people in this puritanical-based social structure fear the unknown. They fear stigmas attached to being "different". And so they don't really LIVE too much. Vanilla sex lives and such. zzzzzzz.....yeah, pass on that. It would depend on who was asking. I suppose that it's not a problem to answer yes here as I am relatively anonymous. To a certain group of friends, I would also say yes. It is were my mother, though, I would probably deny it, but that's because it's not something that I would want her to ask in the first place.

If another group of friends or a co-worker asks, it would depend on if they are revealing something about themselves. For example, an old girlfriend of mine made some comments wishing that we had a pair of handcuffs. I asked if she was serious, which she confirmed. Immediately I opened up a nearby drawer and pulled out a pair. ;-)

Definitely yes. I practice S&M which includes bondage and it is very sexy to dominate or be dominated while being tied up. While being tied up you are allowing your lover to satisfy you without your arms or legs getting in the way of stopping them.
