that's pretty much it. I don't know how many bags I can bring, and what their maximum weight can be. I'm moving out of country so I want to bring as much as I can. Any one know?

Each airline has its own limit. It also depends on the "class" you are flying and the type of ticket.

Usually you can carry about 20kg as checked in baggage (no limit on the number of pieces) and one carry on less than 5kg. This is just a general idea for international flights and can change a lot.

Airlines used to be a bit flexible about these limits but now with stricter security criteria they are becoming more and more stringent.

There is a good chance this information is written on the back of your ticket or any other paper next to it. Or you can try to logon to the airline website or contact them or the travel agency over phone.

Additional baggage is charged at very high rates and you should avoid paying excess baggage at any cost because it is much cheaper to buy the items at the destination (as long as it is available)

Have a nice trip.

If you are traveling out of country, with no layovers on the way, then you can check two bags, each up to 50 pounds. If you have a layover, you will have to claim you bags, and then your weight limits for the second part of your trip will likely be less. Check with the airline to confirm.

However much you want to take may depend on where you are going. If you move to a place like India, where clothes are cheap, you may want to take less of those and have some made up when you get there.

Why don't you just call either the Airline or your travel agent.
