Suppose the guy had a big nose, a skinny face, a long neck, balding, and a beer belly, but had a great personality with a sense of humor and is always nice and kind? Would you find him attractive?

I think looks play a factor to some degree. You can't help who you are attracted to, I physically like tall dark and handsome type guys, i have a thing for greeks (not on purpose it just turns out they are greek)
But personality wise I like sense of humor, sincerity, honesty, and how they treat me.
The only problem is what if you are attracted to the person b/c they have the best personality in the world, but can't become physically attracted to them? That's when it's more of a problem with you then them.
Looks fade, personality sticks.

It matters a lot.
I would have to be attracted to him to be intimate with him.
I dont want to date an old man, so no I wouldnt date a balding guy with a beer belly.
But the big nose thing doesnt bother me that much.

Even if I don't find someone physically attractive at first, after getting to know them, as long as they are a good person, I begin to see them as attractive. So yes, looks matter, but remember that looks are subjective.

Looks don't matter that much because if you don't have personality,what's the point? If I go out with you because your cute and I later find out you can't defend me but continuously beat me,your not a man in my opinion and that's why looks are not important to me but I will look for something I like about your physical appearance(you can't be butt ugly!).To answer your second question,heck no!I'm sorry but you can't be that ugly,sorry.That's not in my vocabulary.You still have to look at least three-fourths of cute.

In my personal opinion looks do matter. Personality is a big thing also, but you have to be somewhat physically attracted to someone. i wouldn't just date someone for their looks, they have to have a good personality too, but you don't wanna date some nasty looking person even though they have a decent personality, i gotta be attracted to them physicially and mentally or else i'm not interested.

yes i would find him attractive b/c looks dont matter ok put it this way what if you were an extremely handsome perdon had an accident and that was all you had was your looks so really looks arent that important

there has to be some physical attraction or else its just like a friendship. so i guess i say looks matter, but they arent everything.

looks do matter somewhat to me.. yeah i care more about personality but i have to be decently attracted by his looks.
