True Love is being in tune on as many levels as possible.
True Love is wanting to be with that person and feeling a little empty when you can't be - and wanting to be with them more than anything else.
True Love is knowing when to Zig when the other wants to Zag - to pick them up emotionally even when you're not up to it 100%.
True Love is acceptance - no matter what they did previously in their life that may be considered "weak".
True Love is working together and not at cross-purposes.
True Love is frequently "at first sight" and there is absolutely no doubt that it is.
True Love is a blessing that sad to say many will never know in their life although they think they've had it.
True Love uplifts more than anything else except for God.
True Love is all these and hard work too.
But most importantly True Love is sacrifice - doing something for someone else that perhaps you'd really not want to, but you love them so much you feel good over the sacrifice because you contributed to their happiness even if just in a little way. This includes being able to let go of the other person if they do not reciprocate your love because you want their happiness more than your own.

There is no real answer for you. We all love people in different ways. We can feel love for someone and not be in love with them. We love everyone differently. If you are asking how do you know when you have met that one certain person in your life that you want or think you want to spend life with. It all depends. Do they make you happy? Do you both treat one another with respect? Do you wish you could spend every moment with one another? Do you feel secure? Do you feel as though nothing will ever come between the two of you?
If you answered yes to these questions not including many many other factors, well maybe then in your view it's true love.

Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.
The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love. Others call it a recently invented abstraction, sometimes dating the "invention" to courtly Europe during or after the middle ages (though this is contradicted by the sizable body of ancient love poetry). Others maintain that love really exists, is not an abstraction, but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. And others attempt to define love and apply the definition to everyday life.

True love is when two people can look at each other for the first time and fall in love. They know if their soul mates if they feel something when they kiss. If both of those things happen then you have found your true love.

True love is when you can love someone and accept them the way they are with all the good and bad. You respect that person and try to do everything in your power not to allow them to get hurt. True love is sweet and pure and doesn't come with strings!

Well, I never thought it existed until I met my boyfriend.
I've had two other major, long term relationships before him. My last one, I was engaged to a guy that I always fought with and constantly questioned his intentions (yes, it was stupid I was with him, I know.)
But once I met my boyfriend now, things changed. We've been together a year, and have never fought. We discuss things rationally, and learn from them. I know that he is the man I am meant to spend my life with. We can be completely ourselves around eachother. I cannot imagine my life without him.
True love - as stupid as this sounds - makes you feel like you have something out of the movies. You look at that person every day, and you don't get bored by that.
