The green tea, BY ITSELF, no. It's acidic. But if it's loaded with tons of sugar, it's possible.
Bacteria do not thrive in an acidic environment. But they do very well in a sugary one.
The next time you feel yourself getting a UTI, drink unsweetened cranberry juice. There is something in cranberries that prevents bacteria from adhering to the lining of the bladder. That doesn't mean you can put off going to the doctor if it's already present or worsens, but it can help.
