I don't know about you, Dearheart, but my version of God (Deity 7.0?) doesn't need any sacrifices...and my cats are hissing at your choice... God forgives just by being asked-- or at least mine does. I don't know why so many people seem to have to sacrifice something. Jesus laid his life down just to make a point (and others before and after have done the same) It just depends on what you want to believe in. I prefer the non-sacrificial sort. Blessings my Son.

Sacrifice is not requested by God for forgiveness.
God forgives as soon as the mistaken feels sorry about his sin.
If the sinner has treated with injustice somebody else, the oppressed should forgive the sinner prior to God's forgiveness

It means that we misunderstand. People (not God) seem to need a scapegoat. If you doubt it, look at this wonderful/contentious site. Don't we all do it? Don't we all look at the mess this world is in and think to ourselves..."if only [fill in the blank with your favorite scapegoat] would change, we could get somewhere". I do it too. We all do.
So we assume that God is like that. Jesus knew it too. He gave himself as the ultimate scapegoat. All the rage that a holy God would have to unleash on all our misdeeds could be justified in our small human minds be leaning upon a scapegoat to allow us to approach God without terror.
But, my opinion is that we can think beyond this. We can realize that as dearly as we love our own children (and that's the deepest love I can imagine), we still stumble and bumble along and make mistakes. If, despite our human frailty we can and do love our own children with an everlasting and unconditional love, then SURELY God loves us at least as well as that! The one who created CANNOT and DOES NOT condemn his children to hell forever and ever and DOES NOT require sacrifice to appease his appetite for justice. The sacrifice is for our small hearts that can't believe how lovable we are!

Why Is God “Ready to Forgive”? “You, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive.”—PSALM 86:5. ASV, NWT
We read: “As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset, so far off from us he has put our transgressions. As a father shows mercy to his sons, Jehovah has shown mercy to those fearing him.” Why is Jehovah disposed to show mercy? The next verse answers: “For he himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:12-14)
Yes, Jehovah does not forget that we are creatures of dust, having frailties, or weaknesses, as a result of imperfection. The expression that he knows “the formation of us” reminds us that the Bible likens Jehovah to a potter and us to the vessels he forms. (Jeremiah 18:2-6) A potter handles his clay vessels firmly yet delicately, ever mindful of their nature. So, too, Jehovah, the Great Potter, tempers his dealings with us according to the frailty of our sinful nature.—Compare 2 Corinthians 4:7.
When we sin, we too may carry the crushing burden of a painful conscience as a result. This feeling of remorse is normal, even healthy. It can move us to take positive steps to correct our mistakes. Some Christians, though, have become overwhelmed by guilt. Their self-condemning heart might insist that God will not fully forgive them, no matter how repentant they are. If we become “swallowed up” by guilt, Satan may try to get us to give up, to feel that we are not worthy of serving Jehovah.—2 Corinthians 2:5-7, 11.
But that is not at all how Jehovah views matters! His Word assures us that when we manifest genuine heartfelt repentance, Jehovah is willing, yes ready, to forgive. (Proverbs 28:13) So if God’s forgiveness has ever seemed unattainable to you, perhaps what is needed is a better understanding of why and how he forgives.

Good, now try reading the New Testament. The only sacrifice was Jesus. He died so we all could live. So all our sins would be forgiven, all we have to do is ask. Next time, maybe you should research your question a little more before asking. It was funny though.

It says that we are little. A little problem requires a little solution. Listening to Satan the Serpent instead of The Infinite One who has given you everything He can to share His love(perfectly balanced universe included) is a problem with infinite natural and supernatural consequences. Since His Mercy wants to end these consequences, He has provided a way out through Jesus.

God simplified everything for you! Hooray!! Jesus was his one and only sacrifice for your sins and mine. All you have to do to be forgiven of those sins is to acknowledge and accept his son as payment for your sins. That's it! It's very good that you are at a point in your life where you are openly asking such questions. God bless!

God smokes too much, he has short memory. That's why marihuanna is ilegal in msot countries. SO we won't be like god and our memory can stay little longer
