It isn't something they can control..seems to make no difference whether neutered or not, so is not caused by testosterone...It is just a position that it won't stay neatly 'enclosed'..

Maybe he's going through puberty (just kiding). It's a natral thing. Just like when a man has an erection for no reason at all. I would imagine your dog is pretty young, maybe around a year or so or less. My chiuahuah did that for a while and grew out of it.

My does that alot too.Usually when he's too warm.
It's a little embarassing to pull up to a stop lite next to a truck with him sitting in the front seat panting hard and that thing stickin out.But whatya gonna do?

I've always noticed that, but I've never really wondered about it. As I sit here thinking about it I realize I don't know why. Does it stay hard all the time, or maybe semi-hard? Good question.

Because they don't wear pants. If men went around spraggle-butt nekkid, we'd be showing our red rocket every time we sat down, too.

Lol, I have NEVER heard it called that before. I have no idea why those perverts show it all the time tho. They should only put it out when they are cleaning themselves or...trying to...hump something but why they let it hang out I have no clue.

i have heard it referred to as pink rocket on the following the different evening and went out giggling so demanding there have been tears coming down my face, yet please I under no circumstances heard it before & I under no circumstances prefer to take heed to it again
